BIO | ART.US MANSOIR

Art.Us Mansoir is a singer, poet and musician from Leimert Park Village, where he performs regularly. He has also studied music and has an AA degree in music and commercial voice.
Art.Us Mansoir likes to mix music with poetry and song to create his eclectic and unique style. Inspired by one of his greatest influences, Gil Scott-Heron, who also used this same formula.
Through no coincidence, but more like the hand of fate, Art.Us was cast in the play production, "Gil Scott-Heron Bluesology", a tribute to that same late great Gil Scott-Heron.
The play recently opened Off-Broadway at Manhattan's famed Soho Playhouse in New York City. Art.Us specializes in his own unique style of performance called "Praise Poetry", which are songs and poems dedicated to a higher power and spirituality.
His body of work includes, but not limited to, the solo project called “Muse (life is)”, as well as "Why Christ Died: A Praise Poetry Project, Vol. 1". All produced by his own music production company, Cloud 9 Productions aka J.A.M. Producions.
His name simply means with "Art and US Man Soars Higher"—Art.Us Mansoir
